Lunches

Healthy School Lunches Programme

Marewa School is part of the Healthy School Lunches Programme which means that we receive free school lunches every school day for every student.

When a student enrols at Marewa, parents will complete a form to let the school know if there are any special dietary requirements. We pass this information on to the lunch provider so that we can cater to students' needs.

If any of your children develop an allergy after they have enrolled, please inform the office.

Parents are encouraged to provide their child(ren) with some morning tea every day.

Fruit and Milk in Schools

We are part of the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education initiative which means that a variety of fruit is supplied to the school so that all pupils can have at least one piece of fruit per day.  The students also receive a serving of cold milk each day.

Breakfast Club

Free breakfast is offered on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8.15 am until 8.55 am in the hall. Cereal, milk and fruit is available for all Marewa School pupils. It is a great way to start the day with breakfast and conversation.
